Zur Situation von Kindern und Jugendlichen auf den Philippinen

Die Filipinos sind ein sehr junges Volk: Von den 85,2 Millionen Einwohner/ihnen sind, 36,2% unter 15 Jahren. Das Durchschnittsalter liegt bei 21,8 Jahren ( Deutschland:41,3 Jahre).

Kinder gelten als Geschenke Gottes; nicht nur, weil sie die Liebesgefühle der Eltern zueinander zeigen, sondern auch, weil sie eine wichtige Altersvorsorge sind. Dementsprechend wird von ihnen erwartet, so früh wie möglich im Haushalt oder bei der Arbeit zu helfen.

In armen Familien müssen oft alle, das heißt auch Kinder, zum Familieneinkommen beitragen. Mehr als eine Million Kinder im Alter von sechs bis zwölf Jahren gehen gar nicht ( mehr ) zur Schule. Straßenkinder gehören heute zum Erscheinungsbild jeder Philippinischen Stadt. Kinder, die mit dem Gesetz in Konflikt kommen, gehören zu den am meisten benachteiligten Gruppen der Gesellschaft. Viele fliehen aus schwierigen häuslichen Verhältnissen, aus Armut und Missbrauch und brechen Schule und Ausbildung, im ersten Quartal 2004 saßen 4.544 Kinder hinter Gittern. Kinderprostitution stellt ein weiteres Problem dar.

Die Hilfe von MAYFLOWERSFOUNDATION ist zwar nur ein Dropfen auf einem heißen Stein ,doch hoffen wir ,daß wir Anregungen für Möglichkeiten um die Situation der armen Bevölkerung ,insbesonder der KINDER, zu verbessern, aufzeigen können.

Ako si Pau pau 2 years old. Ako naga wish para may pangbakal sang gatas, kay ang akon mama kag papa wala sang pang bakal sang gatas ko. Maka bakal si papa kon may kita sia sa pag byahi sang trysikol kon wala sia kita sa pagbyahi sang trisikol wala man sila sang inogbakal sang gatas ko. Amo lang na ang wish ko sa Christmas. Madamo gid nga salamat sa MayFlowers Foundation, madamo kamo sang nabuligan kag isa na dira si papa ko, madamo gid nga salamat liwat. Ang sulat ko nga ini si mama ang nag sulat kay 2 years old pa lang ako, inde ako kabalo mag sulat ginapamangkot lang ako ni mama kon ano ang gusto ko kag gin hambal ko kay mama kon ano ang wish ko. In Sangkat,Boeng Keng Kang, in Kamodscha betreut der philippinische Pastor Ariel Mahilum und seine Frau eine Missionsstation mit angeschlossener Schule .Es fehlt in diesem armen Land das Geld   um einen ordendlichen Schulbetrieb aufrecht zu erhalten.MayFlowersFoundation hat sich bereit erklärt dieses Projekt finanziell zu unterstützen.Wir wüschen Pastor Mahilum eine segensreiche Arbeit.

Out of School Youth

                            

This is Kiener Juanga, 17 years old, 3rd Year High School. Last year he studied in Leganes National High School, due to Financial Problem he stop studying. His Father is a Carpenter and the Mother a Housewife. Kiener is the 8th among 10th Children of Juanga Family, that’s  the reason why his parents cannot afford to pay the tuition and buy the School materials. Now Kiener Helping his Parents to earn extra money for the food by driving the Trisikad. During Weekend Kiener visit the Chapel to mentain the cleanliness inside and outside of the Chapel. He is one of the active person, who help the Foundation service  prepare the materials needed for the activities program.

The MayFlowers Foundation decided to support Kiener for his Studies. Kiener was very happy that he can go to School again next year.

HILFE ZUR SELBSTHILFE

Das wichtigste Programm von Mayflowersfoundation ist Hilfe zur Selbshilfe. Es wurden Maschinen gekauft , die den Reisanbau erleichtern und den Ertrag erheblich steigern. Ziel ist es , daß sich die Familien zukünftg ohne fremde Hilfe erhalten können.

 

One of the program of MFF(MayFlowers Foundation) to give a kabuhayan”source of Income” to the parents of the scholars, the foundation bought a Kuliglig “Motor and a rice plow used to plow the ricefield”. Now this “Kuliglig” is used by the Farmers.

 .    

Habe einen Wunsch ( Make a Wish )

In 3 Wochen ist Weihnachten. Der Großteil der Philippinischen Kinder bekommt zum Fest kein Geschenk da kein Geld dafür da ist.

MayFlowers Foundation fragt daher die Kinder in Pangpang und Umgebung was sie sich zu Weihnachten Wünschen und wird diese Wünsche erfüllen.

Within 3 weeks its Christmas time. The MayFlowers Foundation organize a program “MAKE A WISH FOR CHRISTMAS” for the poor Children of Pangpang and Neighbour Places. The Service team of MayFlowers Foundation put a Mailbox in Front of Pangpang Chapel for the Children to put the Christmas Wish.

Halleluja lobet den Herrn (Halleluja Praise the Lord)

11 Wochen nach dem Sturm “Frank” mit meterhohen Fluten wurde in Sitio Pangpang in der schön restaurieten Kapelle eine HL Messe unter zahlreichcher Beteiligung der Bevölkerung gefeiert. Father Teves ging in seiner Predigt auf die großartige Stellung  der Gottesmutter Maria als Führbitterin für all unsere Probleme vor Gott ein. Nach der HL Messe fand ein gemeinsammes Essen der Glaubigen statt.

Es ist beabsichtig monatlich ein HL Messe zu feiern und einen eigenen Kirchenchor zu gründen. Ebenso sollen mit Hilfe der MayFlowers Foundation Messdiener eigeschult werde.

Helfende Hände ( Helping Hands )

 

 Viele Bewohner der Kirchengemeinde helfen die Hochwasserschäden an der Kapelle zu beseitigen und die Kapelle für die HL. Messe am 7.9.08 zu restaurieren.

Kinder haben die Statue des HL. Isedro ( Schutzheiliger der Bauern ) ca 2Km weiter entfernt auf einem Bambusbaum gefunden und ihn in die Kapelle getragen. Vielen Dank an die Kinder Gott möge sie segnen.
