The Mother Mary is back in the Chapel

The Mayflowers Founfation donated the Blessed Virgen Mary in Sitio Pangpang Leganes Chapel. On June 21 2008, the storm Frank hit Philippines with a heavy rain and bring stong flash of water and the Mother Mary was gone with a strong wave of waters but there are so many people and children of Sitio Pangpang are survived  from that calamity. Today the service team of Mayflowers Foundation bring the new Mother Mary to put in the Chapel. The Community are preparing for the Mass on September 7, 2008 and it was blessed by the Parish Priest of Leganes ( Shrine of St. Vincent Ferrer ).  Some people say that the last Mother Mary was Small but now it was two times bigger and they say two time Blessed for the People of Pangpang.

   

Sammlung für Weihnachtsgeschenke für Philippinische Kinder gestartet!

Nachdem die Opfer der Flut nicht nur das lebennotwendige verloren haben sondern die Kinder auch kein Spielzeug und nur wenig Kleidung haben organisiert MayFlowers Foundation eine Sammelaktion.

Bis vor Weihnachten 2008 sollen die gesammelten Spielsachen und Sommerkleidung mittels Schiffscontainer auf den Philippinen ankommen und verteilt werden. Die gesamten Frachtkosten übernimmt MayFlowers Foundation. Falls sie Interesse haben auch an dieser Aktion teilzunehmen bitte nehmen sie mit uns Kontakt auf. Mayflowers Foundation Übernimmt Patenschaft

Mayflowers foundation übernimmt die Patenschaft für Baby Marie.  Vertreter der Mayflowers Foundation übergaben der Mutter der in der Kapelle geborenen Marie. BabyKleidung and Spielzeug sowie einen Geldbetrag zu Abdeckung von Arztkosten.

Wiederaufbau in Pangpang Leganes

Fast so schnell, wie der Stürm “Frank” gekommen war, und fast alle Häuser zerstört hat, gestaltet sich nun der Wiederaufbau. Unter Mithilfe finanzieller Mittel der MayFlowers Foundation wurde Baumaterial angeschafft und den Opfern übergeben. Nunmehr werden die Häuser mit Nachbarschaftshilfe wieder aufgebaut ( siehe Bilder).

Ein großes ” Dankeschön ” dem kath. Pfarramt in Leganes das in vorbildlicher und unbürokratischer Weise tatig  wurde.
